You can’t have Wimbledon without a royal appearance, right? Today, the Prince and Princess of Wales were spotted beaming in the Royal Box, looking like they just stepped out of a very chic advertisement for summer fashion. William was probably making dad jokes about the hawks that keep the pigeons away, while Kate was clearly giving fashion lessons to everyone within a mile radius.
But the royals weren’t flying solo. Joining them was David Beckham, looking unfairly cool in a cream suit, as if he just walked off a yacht and into Centre Court. I’m convinced the man has a secret transporter that zaps him to every major sporting event in the world.
And, in a surprise twist, the one and only Tom Cruise was also in the building. He was probably calculating how to run up the side of the stadium between sets. Honestly, if he started sprinting across the court to return a serve, would anyone even be surprised?
