The Drummond Ranch has been in operation for over a century, with the family's cattle business dating back to the early 1900s. It's a working ranch, which means it's not just a fancy spread for show, but an actual livestock operation that requires hard work and dedication. And trust me, Ree's husband, Ladd Drummond, is the real deal – a true cowboy who can rope a steer in under 10 seconds (okay, maybe that's an exaggeration, but he's still pretty cool)!
The ranch itself is a whopping 433,000 acres, making it one of the largest in the country. To put that into perspective, it's roughly the size of Los Angeles – yes, the entire city! The Drummonds use this vast land to raise cattle, horses, and even bison, because why not, right? It's not like they're trying to start their own zoo or anything (although, that would be kind of awesome).
