As of right now, Rockstar says Fall 2026. That’s a target. Considering the history of delays (remember, GTA V was delayed twice), I’d bet my left controller we’ll see it slide into early 2026. Maybe. Maybe.
If you’re doing the math at home: 2014 (concept) to 2026 (release) is an 11-year development span. That’s longer than it took to build the Great Pyramids. Well, not really, but it feels like it.
So, how long has GTA 6 been in development? Long enough for us to go from “I can’t wait!” to “I’ve accepted I will die before I drive a neon pink car in this game.” But hey, when it drops, we’ll all pretend we weren’t crying about it for a decade. See you in Vice City… eventually.
