The way the royals sign their names is actually pretty fascinating. They use a special type of signature that's been passed down through generations, and it's got its own unique style and flair. For Kate, that means signing her name as "Catherine" or "Cambridge" - but never just "Kate"!
But why is that, you ask? Well, it's because the royals like to keep things formal and consistent. They've got to maintain a certain level of dignity and grace, even when they're just signing their name. And that means following the rules and doing things the proper way.
It's not just about Kate, either - all the royals have to follow these strict guidelines. From Prince William to Queen Elizabeth herself, they've all got to toe the line when it comes to signing their names. It's a royal tradition that's been around for centuries!
