Life is stressful. Mortgages, emails, and that one person who microwaves fish in the office—it’s a lot. The jungle, on the other hand, is a beautiful simplification: you’re hungry, tired, and covered in mud. Watching celebrities endure it reminds us that discomfort is temporary, and that a good laugh over a bad bush tucker trial can reset your entire mood. It’s pure, unapologetic escapism.
The 2026 cast delivers that in spades. You’ve got a soap star known for dramatic exits, a TikTok dancer who has never touched a bug (poor soul), and a legendary singer who once headlined Glastonbury. Put them together in a camp with no Wi-Fi? That’s not just TV—it’s a social experiment dressed in khaki. And we are here for every awkward, hilarious moment.
Let’s Meet the Key Campmates
First up is Maya Carter, the pop-punk icon from the early 2000s. She’s here to “reconnect with nature” and because her tour bus broke down, but we suspect she just wants to win back her chart-topping mojo. Next is Jake “The Snek” Henderson, a Love Island alum who claims he’s “incredibly scared of everything.” Spoiler: he will definitely faint during the first trial.
Then there’s Dr. Priya Khanna, a beloved TV doctor who actually treats panic attacks in camp. She’s the calm in the storm, but we all want to see her lose it over a cockroach on her toothbrush. And rounding it out is Colin “The Beast” Murphy, a retired rugby star built like a fridge—but who cries every time he sees a possum. You will root for them all.
