Because it makes you feel like a detective. You realize how many people touched that magical world. Every actor brought a little piece of the story to life, and then... they left.
But here's the real kicker. There are no child actors from the main trio who died. No Ron. No Hermione. No Harry. They're all thriving. Daniel Radcliffe does weird indie films. Emma Watson runs book clubs. Rupert Grint owns an ice cream truck. Yes, really.
The real death count is surprisingly low. We lost maybe a dozen major cast members over two decades. For a franchise that featured death eaters, dementors, and a snake named Nagini, that's peaceful.
So next time someone says, "Did you hear who died from Harry Potter?" smile. You know the facts. You know the funny details. You know that the magic survives even when the actors don't.
Want to take it further? Watch the films again. Spot the ones who are gone. Raise a butterbeer to them. They made childhood weird, wonderful, and totally worth it.
Now go share this with a friend. Just don't say "Everyone's dead!" They'll think you're a death eater.
