If you’re after classic SNL—the 90s stuff, the Will Ferrell era—you’d be surprised. BBC iPlayer has occasionally hosted specials or old episodes. It’s not reliable, but it’s worth checking around Christmas or when a big name hosts. It’s like finding a tenner in an old coat pocket.
Alternatively, go full vintage: DVD box sets. You can find "SNL: The Best of..." collections on Amazon UK or CeX. They’re a bit dusty, and you’ll need a DVD player (remember those?), but they’re yours forever. No buffering, no geo-blocks, just pure, unadulterated Lorne Michaels chaos.
Oh, and if you’re feeling very old-school, check your local library. I’m not joking—some libraries in the UK have SNL compilations on DVD. Free, legal, and you get that lovely "librarian judgement" stare when you check out a sketch about cowbell.
