I know I’m being flippant, but there’s a serious side. The fear of these marches is often bigger than the marches themselves. The media loves a good fight, so a group of 50 angry people gets covered like it’s the Second Coming. The next “EDL-style” event will probably be announced via a viral TikTok or a sudden spike in racist graffiti in a town near you.
So, the answer to your question? There is no “next” EDL march in the classic sense. But there will be tensions. There will be small, ugly rallies. There will be online hashtags trying to organize one. The real timeline is: whenever someone with a Twitter account and a grudge decides it’s Tuesday.

What You Should Actually Do Instead of Waiting
If you’re asking out of concern (like a good human), don’t wait for the next march to be announced. Get involved with your local community. Join groups that build bridges, not burn them. The next “march” you should care about is one for tolerance or community safety.
And if you’re asking because you’re curious about the spectacle? Well, grab your popcorn and check local council websites for police advice. They usually give a heads-up about “planned public demonstrations.” Just remember: you’re more likely to find a parking spot near the event than you are to see a real riot.
In short: the next EDL march is a ghost. It’s a myth, like a unicorn with a bad haircut. It exists in memory, in anxiety, and in the occasional angry tweet. But it doesn’t have a date stamp. So, go enjoy your coffee. The only thing marching right now is time.
P.S. - If someone tells you “It’s next Saturday,” ask them for the meeting point. Then check if that location is an empty car park. I guarantee it will be.
