Look, UConn women don’t have a fixed “game time” like a TV show. They don’t air on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. sharp for thirty seasons straight.
Instead, the schedule is a glorious, chaotic mess—and that’s why we love it. You’ll have games on Thursday nights, Sunday afternoons, or random Wednesdays when you’re supposed to be working.
But here’s the golden rule: Big East conference games usually tip off at 7 p.m. or 9 p.m. on weeknights. Weekend games? Those babies are often at 1 p.m. or 2 p.m. so you can watch while you eat brunch. Perfect, right?
The “Oh No, It’s March” Exceptions
Come March, all bets are off. The NCAA tournament schedules games at every hour of the day. You’ll get a noon game on a Tuesday, then an 11 p.m. game on a Thursday.
I swear, the committee does this on purpose to mess with our sleep schedules. They want you to chug coffee at 10 p.m. while Aaliyah Edwards (or whoever is dominating that year) scores thirty points.
My advice? Set a reminder on your phone. And I mean a real one, not the “I’ll remember” lie we tell ourselves. Write it on your arm if you have to. This is serious business.
