Clay Morrow dies in Season 6, Episode 4. The episode is called “Aon… something Gaelic I can’t pronounce.” (It’s “Aon Rud Beag,” but who’s counting?)
By then, you’ll be desperate for it. Seriously. You’ll be screaming at your TV, “Just kill him, Jax! Do it!”
And Jax does. Oh, he does. It’s not quick. It’s not clean. It’s personal.
But First, the Long, Agonizing Wait
Clay survives for an absurdly long time. He’s like a cockroach in a leather vest. He gets shot. He gets arrested. He gets beat up. He even gets his club patch stripped.
Remember when he tries to kill Gemma? Remember when he kills Piney? The guy is a wrecking ball of bad decisions. And yet, he keeps talking. Those damn speeches about “the club” and “first nine.” Ugh.
You start to wonder if the writers forgot he was supposed to die. You start to wonder if you will die before Clay does.
