Because it’s a cultural event. Squid Game isn’t just a show; it’s a global joke we all share. We laugh at the absurd violence. We cry when the marbles episode destroys us. And we all wonder, “Would I survive? (Answer: No. I’d trip in the first round.)
Talking about the release time feels like planning a heist. You’re coordinating with friends. You’re strategizing. “I’ll watch at 8, you text me at 9 with no spoilers.” It’s silly. It’s fun. And it’s pure escapism.
Plus, think of the memes. Boxers vs. tracksuits. Pop culture chaos. The internet will be on fire by lunchtime.
The Countdown Begins
So, set that alarm for 7:45 AM on December 26. Brew a strong coffee. Grab some biscuits. And prepare to lose your mind over a bunch of bankrupt contestants playing children’s games for billions of won.
8 AM GMT. Boxing Day. Squid Game Season 2. It’s the most wonderful—and terrifying—time of the year. Don’t be late. The lights could go red at any moment.
Now go practice your ddakji flip. You’ll need it.
