So there you have it. Tomorrow’s Detroit Lions game is at 1:00 PM Eastern (or 4:25, or 8:15, depending on the universe’s mood). You are now armed with all the info you need to have the best day ever. You’ve planned, you’ve prepped, and you’ve mentally prepared for a Lions win (because why not?).
Here’s the truth: the time doesn’t really matter. What matters is that you’re going to spend a few hours doing something you love, with people you care about (or just your cat, who’s confused but supportive). The Lions are more than a team—they’re a reason to gather, to laugh, to groan, and to celebrate the absurd joy of sports.
And win or lose, you’ll wake up the next day with a story. Maybe it’s a story about a last-second field goal. Maybe it’s a story about how the nachos were surprisingly good. Either way, it’s your story. And tomorrow, at whatever time, you’ll be part of something bigger than a clock—you’ll be part of the pride of Detroit.
So go ahead, set that alarm. Wear your jersey. Put on your game face. And remember: It’s always a good time for Lions football. Even if it’s 1:00 AM in your brain. I’ll see you on the other side of the kickoff. Go, Lions!
