If you’re at Bank Station after 00:30 on a weekday, do not go down the stairs to the W&C platform. It’s locked like a vault.
You’ll find a gate. A very sad, lonely gate. And a sign that says “Last train has departed.” It knows you goofed.
Sometimes, staff will let you through if you look desperate. But don’t count on it. Pack a sandwich and accept your fate.
