Look, losing sucks. It stings like a cold Seattle rain in November. But here’s the thing: The Seahawks are still 8-4, and they’re fighting for a playoff spot. Today’s game was a weird one—the kind you just have to laugh about. I mean, who loses on a fumble in overtime? We do, apparently. But the vibes aren’t all bad. The defense actually held strong for most of the game, and Geno Smith finished with over 300 passing yards. That’s not nothing.
So, the next time someone asks you, “What time did the Seahawks game end today?” you can smile and say, “Late. Way too late. And it hurt.” But then you add: “But I’d do it all over again.” Because that’s what being a fan is—showing up for the bruising, the joy, and the terrible, beautiful chaos of it all.
And hey, if you missed the game entirely? Good on you. You saved yourself two hours of nail-biting and one existential crisis. But if you watched every painful second, you’re a trooper. Wear your 12th Man jersey with pride tomorrow. The season’s far from over. And who knows? Next Sunday, that last-second field goal might go our way.
Uplifting conclusion time: Remember, life is a lot like a Seahawks game—full of twists, fumbles, and moments that make you want to scream into a pillow. But you get up, you dust off, and you keep cheering. Because somewhere out there, a bird is soaring, a kick is being practiced, and hope is still on the roster. And until that final whistle blows—whether it’s 4:18 PM or 5:18 PM—we’re all in this together. Go Hawks, and go grab a celebratory snack. You’ve earned it. ❤️
