Before you panic-scroll through 400 channels, let’s get the obvious out of the way. You need to know what channel is carrying the Ducks. Is it ABC? Fox? ESPN? Maybe even the Pac-12 Network, that mysterious channel that feels like a secret society? Don’t sweat it—just check your local listings or that sports app you downloaded and never use.
Pro tip: If you can’t find it, yell “Duck, duck, GO!” at your TV. It works approximately 0% of the time, but it makes you feel better. And hey, sometimes the satellite gods smile on the faithful.
The Opponent: Who Are They, Really?
Today, the Ducks are facing a team that… well, it doesn’t matter if you’re a true fan. You just need to know if they’re wearing the wrong colors. Is it a bunch of guys in red? Purple? Whatever—they’re the enemy. Treat them like the last slice of pizza at a party: unworthy of respect.
But here’s a little secret: even bad opponents can make for great TV. You get to see Bo Nix (or whoever is under center this year) throw a perfect spiral while you sip your coffee. It’s football therapy, I tell you. And if the opponent is ranked? Oh, honey, you might need a second cup of coffee—or a stress ball.
