You Can’t Just Walk In (Sorry)
Here’s the kicker: You can’t just show up and tour it. It’s a private home now. The current owner, Misty, is a descendant and she lives there. She opens it for special events and annual open houses.
So, don’t be that tourist who tries to peek in the windows. Be respectful. You can, however, stand right at the sidewalk and take it all in. The front yard is a public spectacle. And honestly, from the sidewalk, you see the best parts.
If you’re lucky, you might spot a sign advertising a future tour. $10 or so. Do it. It’s the best ten bucks you’ll ever spend on chaos.
