The most inspiring thing about this whole “Is LSU playing?” ritual is that it teaches you to pay attention to small pleasures. You’re not just checking a schedule; you’re tuning into the rhythm of something bigger than yourself. You’re connecting with a whole fanbase that lives and breathes the pressure of the SEC, the magic of a late rally, and the smell of a freshly mowed outfield.
When you ask that question, you’re saying, “I’m ready for something fun. I’m open to possibility.” And that’s a powerful, joyful way to move through the world. It’s the same energy as asking, “Is there pizza in the breakroom?”—only way more rewarding.
Your Uplifting Takeaway
So here’s the inspiring part, friend: whether the answer today is yes or no, you’ve already won. You’ve paused your busy life to ask a question that could lead to connection, excitement, or a little rest. That’s not trivial—that’s living intentionally.
Go ahead and check. If they’re playing, tell your cat, your coworker, or just your own reflection in the mirror. If they’re not, set a reminder for tomorrow. Either way, you’ve just made your day a tiny bit more fun by caring about something beautiful. And who knows? That one little question might be the spark you need to dive deeper into the stats, the history, or even a road trip to Baton Rouge. Let the Geaux flow through you.
