Handwrite it if you can. Handwriting is the soul’s font. It shows you took time. No computer can fake that warmth. A typed note is fine, but a handwritten one is a hug from the past.
Sign off with something weirdly genuine. Not "Sincerely." Try: "With deep appreciation and a tiny bit of leftover homework anxiety," or "Gratefully yours," or "Your former chaos agent."
