Walk up to your ivy-covered fence. Give one of the thicker vines a gentle tug. If it comes away easily, congrats—you’ve got a lazy ivy problem.
If it fights back like a cat being bathed? You’ve got serious adhesion. That means the ivy has rooted into the wood or mortar with tiny, creepy fingers called “holdfasts.”
Don’t just yank—you’ll rip your fence apart. We’re removing ivy, not demolishing the fence in the process. Take it slow and smart.
