Attach one end of your tubing to the shut-off valve using the Teflon tape for a tight seal. You don’t need to be a bodybuilder here—just snug enough so it doesn’t leak.
Now, run the tubing to the back of your ice machine. Most machines have a screw-on fitting at the back labeled “Water In.” Connect it hand-tight, then give it an extra quarter turn with a wrench. Gentle, like you’re opening a jar of pickles.
