Turn the pump back on to “Filter” mode. Look at your pressure gauge now. That needle should be resting nicely in the green zone. If it’s still high, you might have a different problem—or you need to repeat the process like a stubborn toddler who won’t finish their peas.
I usually pat the filter tank afterwards. It’s warm, it’s working, and it feels like you just solved a minor but very satisfying puzzle. You are now a pool hero.
