Here is the no-nonsense, skip-the-manual schedule that actually works for normal people: change pre-filters every six months. Replace the RO membrane every year. Swap polishing cartridges as soon as the quality meter drops (roughly every 6-12 weeks for heavy users).
And for the love of your wallet, flush the system if you’ve been on vacation for two weeks. The water gets stale and smelly. It’s like your water system is hangover.
If you ignore all of this, your Purelab will eventually produce water that is less pure than the stuff from your garden hose. And then you’ll have to watch it, sad and blinking, while you do a very expensive, very wet repair job. Trust me, a little love every few months is way easier than a full reset. Happy pouring.
