That’s more than 27 teams combined. It’s the kind of dominance that makes you think the Yankees have a picture of the commissioner in their locker room.
And let’s be real, their fans are insufferable about it. But if you won 27 times, wouldn’t you be? “27 rings!” they shout at you from the bleachers. You can’t argue with math. Or with history. Or with a franchise that once had a shortstop named Jeter.
