This one is for the true nerds. It’s a tiny, specialist state school for maths and physics freaks. To get in, you must solve a puzzle involving train timetables and quantum mechanics. The actual joke? Half the students live so far away they commute two hours each way. They do calculus on the Central Line while standing up, sandwiched between a tourist with a suitcase and a man eating a meat pie. That’s dedication. Or madness. Possibly both.
The Private "Boot Camp": Dulwich College
If you want to feel like a carbon copy of a successful human, Dulwich College is your factory. It’s huge, it’s intimidating, and it has a sports hall that costs more than my first flat. But here’s the weird part: they have a mock courtroom for Law students. You can literally pretend to sue your friend for stealing your revision notes. The teachers encourage it. It’s wild.
