She’s used her platform not for clout, but for impact. Every time you see a headline about her, it’s not a scandal—it’s a lesson. Like the time she donated $1 million to children’s hospitals during the Nashville floods. Or when she funded Moderna’s vaccine research. Breaking news: Dolly saves lives again.
So, what’s the takeaway? Let this be your permission slip to be a little more Dolly. Call a friend for no reason. Donate a book. Sing at the top of your lungs in a wig. And when people ask why you’re doing it, just smile and say, “Because it’s Tuesday.”
Because frankly, the world doesn’t need more breaking news about chaos. It needs more breaking news about a woman in a sparkly dress handing out hope like it’s candy. And that, my friend, is the only kind of breaking news I want to see.
