You’ll finish the cut. You’ll wipe your brow. Then you’ll realize copper dust is everywhere. On the floor, on your cat, in your coffee mug. Did I drink some? Possibly. Adds flavor.
Use a shop vac or a wet rag immediately. Don’t leave those shavings for future-you to step on barefoot. That’s a tetanus moment waiting to happen.
And here’s the thing: most tight-space cuts take five minutes but feel like an hour. That’s normal. That’s the price of feeling like a real handyman.
The Real Win
When you’re done, you’ll look at that cut pipe and think, “I did that. In a space the size of a shoebox.” You’ll feel like a genius. You are a genius. A sweaty, metal-shaving-covered genius.
Now go finish your pipe project. And maybe buy a mini cutter as a treat. You deserve it. Just don’t blame me if you start looking for tight spaces to cut for fun.
