Also, don’t assume you can use it during takeoff and landing just because you put in headphones. The flight attendants have eyes like hawks.
And for the love of all that is holy, please don’t leave your tablet in the seatback pocket. I know it’s the perfect size. I know it’s a handy spot. But that pocket is a black hole from which electronics rarely return. You will land, pat your seat, and feel a primal scream building in your chest.
Keep your tablet in your bag or on your lap. The seatback pocket is for barf bags and crumpled receipts. Treat it with suspicion.
