Imagine your laptop is a very dramatic actor going on a trip. In the cabin, they get a seat, a snack, and someone checks on them. In the cargo hold, they’re stuffed in a dark trunk with a bunch of weird luggage—maybe a ski boot, maybe a smelly gym bag. It’s not personal, but it’s not glamorous.
For the chill traveler who just wants to avoid hassle, the best move is to carry your laptop on. It’s one less worry, and you can binge-watch movies during the flight. But if you’re a rebel who likes living dangerously, go ahead and pack it—just cushion it like it’s a newborn kitten.
Final Thought: You Do You
So, can you pack it? Yes. Should you? That depends on your love for your laptop and your tolerance for risk. Most people say “no thanks” and keep it close. A few brave souls roll the dice. Whatever you choose, just know you’re making a choice that’s part practical, part personality.
And hey, if you do pack it, maybe snap a photo for good luck. Because if it arrives safely, you’ll have a cool story. If not, well, you’ll have a really fun story to tell at parties.
