So here’s your inspiring homework: pick a roller coaster this summer. Doesn’t matter if it’s a kiddie coaster or a 200-foot monster. Go to it. Scream your head off. Let your arms fly up like you don’t care who sees you. Because you shouldn’t.
Life is short. The laundry will wait. The bills will be there tomorrow. But that moment of weightlessness, of pure thrill, of being completely out of control in a controlled way—that is a gift you give yourself.
And if you ever do find that perfect coaster, the one that makes your heart pound just thinking about it? Ride it twice. Once for the adrenaline, and once for the smile that lasts all week.
Go ahead, search for "best roller coaster in the world" online. Watch the videos. Dream about it. But then, put on your sneakers and go ride one. The world feels a little more wonderful from the top of a lift hill. I promise you that.
