A cactus's daily life is all about conserving water and energy, which means they don't exactly have a thrilling social life. But hey, who needs friends when you have spines to keep you company? These spines are actually pretty cool, and help protect the cactus from predators and extreme weather.
In fact, cacti are so skilled at surviving in tough conditions that they can even go years without water! Now that's what I call resilience. They just kind of... shrivel up and wait for the next rain shower to come along and revive them.
