Laura from A Place In The Sun is more than a presenter. She’s a life coach disguised as a property expert. She’s a ray of sunshine in a world of grey clouds and estate agent jargon.
Whether she’s pointing out a “sun-drenched balcony” that’s actually just a tiny ledge, or convincing a couple that a 45-minute drive to the beach is “perfect,” she does it with style.
So next time you’re stuck inside on a drizzly afternoon, pour yourself a tinto de verano, put on an episode, and let Laura remind you that somewhere, the sun is shining. And she’s probably standing right in it, grinning.
Because that’s her real place in the sun: right in our hearts, and on our TV screens, making us believe a house can become a home—even if it has a weird bathroom.
Cheers to you, Laura. You make house-hunting look like the best adventure ever. And honestly? You’re making a pretty good case for buying that fixer-upper in the hills. Almost convinced me.
