If you haven’t watched the show from the beginning (shame on you), go back. Watch Season 3, Episode 1, when Ziva first appears as a no-nonsense Mossad liaison. You’ll see the spark. Then fast-forward to the episode “Truth or Consequences” (Season 13, Episode 24). Cry a little. Then start Season 17 with hope in your heart. It’s like a treasure hunt, except the treasure is a sassy Israeli spy.
And if you need a laugh, remember that Ziva once shot a man while wearing a wedding dress. And she looked fabulous doing it. That’s the energy we all need.
A Little Uplifting Note for You
Life is weird. Sometimes people disappear, and you think they’re gone forever. But just like Ziva, they might be hiding, fighting, or faking their own death (hopefully not. That would be exhausting). The point is: good things come back when you least expect them. Whether it’s a favorite TV character, an old friend, or that missing sock you found under the couch—the universe has a way of delivering surprises.
So go ahead. Hit play on that season you’ve been saving. Trust the process. And remember: wherever Ziva is, she’s probably cracking a joke about American coffee. And that’s a beautiful thing.
Stay curious. Stay patient. And always rewatch “Under the Radar” just for fun. You’ve got this. Now grab some tissues, make some tea, and enjoy the ride.
