It started like any other day, with the sun rising over the New York City skyline. But little did anyone know, a group of terrorists had other plans, and their actions would soon change the course of history. At 7:59 am, American Airlines Flight 11 took off from Boston's Logan International Airport, heading towards Los Angeles.
Meanwhile, another flight, United Airlines Flight 175, also took off from Boston, heading in the same direction. Unbeknownst to the passengers and crew, both flights had been hijacked by the terrorists, who had sinister plans in store. As the flights soared through the skies, the terrorists began to make their move.
The First Crash
8:46 am, American Airlines Flight 11 crashed into the North Tower of the World Trade Center in Manhattan. The impact and subsequent fire caused massive damage, and people on the ground were in a state of panic. I remember watching the news, thinking it was some kind of terrible accident, but little did I know, it was only the beginning.
