The whole thing kicks off with a hole in a wall. Not a tiny nail hole either. A person-shaped hole, in a posh house in Cambridgeshire.
Someone had clearly burst through it, like a cartoon villain. The homeowner’s son, George, is missing. And so is a ton of his mother’s jewelry.
You think, “Oh, maybe he just had a wild teenage party.” Nope. This is so much weirder.
Enter the “Lost Boys”
The detectives start looking for two teen boys. They’re calling them the “Lost Boys.” But these aren’t cute kids with Peter Pan vibes.
These are real lost souls. One of them, Connor, is this tiny, scrawny kid with bad teeth and a thousand-yard stare. It’s heartbreaking. He looks twelve but is eighteen.
The other, Zak, is the “brains” of the operation, and I use that word very loosely. They’ve been living in a tent, stealing from cars, and apparently, just decided to break into a mansion.
